How It Works

Discover the Green Room Series, where Cambrian Players venture into experimental and modern offerings. Immerse yourself in challenging stories and thought-provoking social commentary that is sometimes challenging, but always a fun place to explore new ideas, with a wide and diverse mixture of plays.

In this series, each show is presented as a staged reading, bringing a unique authenticity as our actors take to the stage with scripts in hand. The level of staging varies, with some performances featuring actors at podiums, while other productions may incorporate more staging and props, guided by the director’s vision.

With only three or four rehearsals prior to hitting the stage, these shows deliver a spontaneous experience for both the performers and the audience. Green Room shows are one-night-only, so make sure to keep an eye out for upcoming performances.

If you’re interested in contributing to a Green Room event, consider signing up to be added to our list of actors, directors, and front-of-house volunteers. It’s a chance to participate in a unique creative process and witness the remarkable energy of these productions.

Here at Cambrian Players, we strive for complete accessibility – from our Spotlight on Inclusivity campaign to special promotions during our mainstage shows.

In that spirit, we recognize not everyone can afford a night out at the theatre. For our mainstage productions, we are happy to offer a variety of ticket options including our Pay What You May performances as well as our BOGO ticket nights.

If the cost of a ticket to one of our ‘one night’ shows (like our Green Room Staged Play Readings or our Improv Shows) is a barrier for you or someone you know, please reach out to us by emailing us at info@cambrianplayers.com

We also still accept donations if you would like to “pay it forward” and help us continue achieving our goal of ensuring everyone can access “theatre for the love it!”
