Cambrian Players is pleased to announce that open auditions will be held for their upcoming production of TREASURE ISLAND written by Robert Louis Stevenson, adapted by Bryony Lavery and directed by Jordan Blaxill.
Auditions will be held:
Saturday August 21st from 1pm to 6pm
Sunday August 22nd from 1pm to 6pm
and Monday August 23rd 6pm to 9pm
at the Cambrian Players Theatre at 818 Spring Street.
We are looking for actors of all genders ages 14+, in addition to singers or musicians who want to help bring the sea to life. We require that any potential actors under the age of 18 have a parent or guardian present during show related activities (audition, rehearsal, shows, etc.)
Performance evenings are Wednesday November 17th to Sunday November 21st and Wednesday November 24th to Saturday November 27th. The performance on Sunday the 21st will be a matinee. All performances will take place at the Cambrian Players Theatre.
Materials will be provided for cold readings.
Actors of all ethnic/cultural/sexual/gender identities are invited to audition. Prior acting experience is helpful but not essential.
Auditions will be held in 20 minute bubbles to ensure a successful audition and time to sanitize between bookings. All safety aspects will be taken into account along with recommendations from the Thunder Bay District Health Unit to ensure the safety of the performers and crew.
